Memory of the World - Global Ceramic Heritage Stamps(GCHS)
GCHS is a 64-page (8 ¼ x 5 ¾ inches) promotional brochure of the proposal submitted to UNESCO, published by the GCHS Committee of International Academy of Ceramics (IAC is a Geneva-based NGO and official partner of UNESCO. www.AIC-IAC.org
Tt depicts a collection of almost 550 ceramics-themed stamps, categorized into: 1. Archaeology and History, 2. Belief and the Spiritual World, 3. Utility and Functionality, 4. Architecture and Tiles, 5. Iconic Ceramics, 6. Potters, Masters, and Artists, and 7. International Friendship and Diplomatic Relations. Several images from museum worldwide are presented to complement the content of the stamps.
A portion of the income will go to the IAC GCHS project.
